Recommended Resources: I’m often asked what camera, lights, microphone, etc, do you use to create your content? So I’ve put together a few of the items that I’ve found. They are categorized in GOOD, BETTER, BEST to give you the most choice – and to fit within your budget.

I’ve always been a Canon user so they’ll likely be listed before anything else, but I believe in using the best tool for the job.

Canon M50. Great entry-level mirrorless

GOOD

BETTER

Canon 90D. I’ve shot with the 60D, 70D, & the 80D. Now this is a great intermediate level 4K shooter. It has the famed Dual Pixel auto focus and now has clean HDMI out! I suggest you get the “body only” version of this camera because there’s so many better options for your lens other than the kit lens that comes with the bundle.

The grip is here

BEST

Canon 5D Mark IV. This is my daily shooter. It’s a beast of a camera with a 30.4MP Full Frame sensor and Shoots 4K.

I also have the bottom grip which doubles the battery life and adds controls to shoot vertically.

BEST

Canon EOS R. Canon’s first full frame mirrorless. It’s also a beast of a camera with a 30.4MP Full Frame sensor and Shoots 4K.

The bottom grip which doubles the battery life and adds controls to shoot vertically.

The EF to RF Adapter if you have EF lenses
